I am an independent consultant based in Switzerland advising and assisting companies during development of data-intensive applications, services and products.
I help companies execute on version 1.0 of their data product vision and focus on supporting clients from general vision to a polished product that maximises stakeholder value. As I have experience in every step of the development of data-intensive projects (analysis and design, prototyping, "productionisation", long-term support and feature evolution, growing teams) I can also help you establish a technical strategy for your data product needs.
A bit about me: my interest in using software to solve complex data problems started with honey bees. During my studies in systems biology I have used software to analyse and model the social network of bees using tracking data of thousands of individuals. I got so excited by the multiplier effect of software that I moved to IT completely. Since then I have delivered software for customers of various sizes in industries such as consumer products, public healthcare, public utility, banking and telecommunications with a strong focus on providing as much value per line of code written as possible.
